Timo Werner could sensationally turn his back on Red Bull Leipzig's Champions League dream in order to force through his move to Chelsea, according to a report from German publication Bild.
The striker has verbally agreed on a switch to Stamford Bridge but the deal is yet to be officially confirmed as the transfer window remains closed.
There is not thought to be anything stopping the transfer going through, with Chelsea willing to pay Werner's £53million release clause, and personal terms already agreed.
Subject to confirmation, Werner would join up with Chelsea at the end of the season, but the Champions League could delay his arrival in London.
