Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has revealed he spoke to future signing Timo Werner before the striker agreed a deal to make the move to Stamford Bridge next season.The Blues officially announced the signing of Werner from RB Leipzig last week and Rudiger has admitted that he 'did his bit' to convince him to join.The pair both started their careers at Stuttgart together and Rudiger spoke to Werner during lockdown and the forward revealed he was interested in a Premier League switch."I did speak to him before because we have known each other for a long time," Rudiger told Chelsea's official club website. "We spoke a lot during the lockdown and he told me he was interested in coming to England.
