Timmy Mallett wants to make a television comeback on Strictly. The 80s star – famous for his “Utterly brilliant!” catchphrase – is upset he’s never been asked to take part.
He said: “I haven’t been asked to do it, but I am a fantastic dancer. I have some fabulous moves. “Mrs Mallett laughs at me, but I’m proud of what I can do on the dancefloor.” Strictly bosses are currently on the hunt for celebs to take part in this year’s series.
Names already rumoured include singer Jane McDonald and footie pundit Mark Lawrenson. But pro dancers Kevin Clifton and AJ Pritchard have both announced they won’t be returning.
