Kevin Clifton has revealed that he begged Strictly Come Dancing bosses to pair him with Stacey Dooley, who is now his girlfriend.

Kevin was paired with Stacey on Strictly Come Dancing in 2018, which the pair went on to win, before revealing they were dating in April 2019.

Kevin, 37, has now revealed that he asked Strictly bosses to pair him with Stacey, 33, as he was a big fan of her work. Speaking on his podcast, The Kevin Clifton Show podcast, Kevin said he called in a favour from choreographer Jason Gilkison, after they worked on the Burn The Floor tour together.
