Tim Brooke-Taylor's death was announced earlier today by his agent, who revealed The Goodies star passed away after contracted coronavirus.

He was 79-years-old.Following the tragic news, fellow celebrities and fans alike took to social media to share their sorrow and reminisce on the successful life of the comedic icon.Among those leading the tributes was Britain's Got Talent judge David Walliams, who admitted he was "obsessed" with The Goodies when he was younger."I was obsessed with ‘The Goodies’ as a child, the first comedy show I really loved," he wrote on Twitter."I queued up to get the Goodies’ autographs as a grown-up, and got to meet Tim Brooke-Taylor more recently at a party.
