Carole Baskin
Carole Baskin (born June 6, 1961) is an American animal rights activist and owner of Big Cat Rescue, a non-profit animal sanctuary based near Tampa, Florida. Baskin drew public attention when she was featured in the 2020 Netflix documentary series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness about Oklahoma-based private zoo operator known as Joe Exotic. The Netflix series follows both Baskin and Joe Exotic, filming their ongoing and escalating feuds over exotic animals in private zoos. Following the series' release, Baskin has been targeted by Internet memes related to the disappearance of Don Lewis, her second husband.

Tiger King's Carole Baskin 'glad husband is alive' after producers find FBI letter

Tiger King star Carole Baskin has said she is "glad to hear" that her former husband is "alive and well" after the show's new series shed light on his possible whereabouts.

In the Netflix's shows first series, Don Lewis' family questioned whether Baskin was responsible for his disappearance. Lewis went missing in 1997, six years after the couple got married, and was legally declared dead in 2002.

The CEO of Big Cat Rescue has repeatedly denied any involvement in the mysterious disappearance. Speaking on This Morning, she has now discussed how Homeland Security in the US reckon he is alive.
