Threave Bowmen Archery Club have started their indoor season with a new home in Castle Douglas. Shooting indoors at Castle Douglas Town Hall on a Friday evening allows the club to continue shooting through the winter months with optional outdoor shooting on a Sunday morning, weather permitting, at Stewartry Rugby Club.

The club has had a busy summer with a number of come and try events at Dalbeattie, Colvend and Springholm to give people an opportunity to experience archery firsthand.

The club also run six week beginner courses. Those interested in learning more about archery can contact the club via facebook.com/threavebowmen or email threavebowmen@gmail.com
