Emmerdale enthusiasts are speculating on the fate of Nate Robinson, played by Jurell Carter, suspecting there might be a dark twist to his sudden exit from the ITV drama.
Before he abruptly left for Shetland, Nate was assaulted by his father Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) when Cain found out about a kiss between his son and wife Moira Barton (Natalie J Robb).
Cain, unable to contain his anger, punched Nate even as he tried to declare his innocence. Furthermore, Tracy Metcalfe, Nate's ex-partner acted by Amy Walsh, seemed to abandon hopes of their reconciliation following contemplation of a move to Shetland with their daughter to mend their fractured relationship.
In the wake of events leaving him isolated, Nate departed the village seemingly without bidding farewell, save for a parting interaction with John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth).
