A Johnny Depp lookalike appeared on This Morning today saying work has dried up since the Hollywood star's trial. The body double appeared on the ITV breakfast show after working with Depp on the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean movie.

He swaggered onto the set dressed as pirate Jack Sparrow from the movie franchise, with hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield letting out audible gasps.

But he told the hosts that bookings for his act had plunged since Depp and his ex Amber Herd's court battle. Simon told Holly, 41, and Phil, 60: "I think I'm quite lucky to a degree because there is a separation to playing a character like Jack Sparrow that so many people grew up with and love. "A lot of my bookings are for weddings and parties from people who love Jack Sparrow.
