John Christopher Depp II (born June 9, 1963) is an American actor, singer, producer, and musician. He has been nominated for ten Golden Globe Awards, winning one for Best Actor for his performance of the title role in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2008), and has been nominated for three Academy Awards for Best Actor, among other accolades. He is regarded as one of the world's biggest film stars. Depp made his film debut in the 1984 film A Nightmare on Elm Street, before rising to prominence as a teen idol on the television series 21 Jump Street (1987–1990). He had a supporting role in Oliver Stone's 1986 war film Platoon and played the title character in the 1990 romantic fantasy Edward Scissorhands.

Photos of Johnny Depp were shared by Amber Heard on Thursday as she told the court that no-one would believe the abuse she allegedly suffered.

Depp, 58, is suing his ex-wife Heard, 36, for more than £38 for defamation.The case relates to an article she wrote in The Washington Post in 2018, which his lawyers say falsely implies he physically and sexually abused her.Depp says her domestic abuse claims have harmed his career and reputation.

On Thursday, Heard said in court she started to notice a 'pattern of behaviour changes' from Depp and documented it by taking pictures, the Mirror reported.

Heard said it was around the two-year mark that she began taking photos and 'became loving for clues' that he had begun using again.During the second day of testimony, Heard told the court: "I only could tell what he was using because I would have to look for clues."[He'd] pass out, and get sick and lose control of himself.
