Walkers have been warned to take care at a popular Bury beauty spot, with live shooting drills set to take place. People visiting Holcombe Moor, and those that live in the area, might hear the sound of gunshots echoing across the hills today (Thursday, November 4).

This is because the Defence Infrastructure Organisation - part of the Ministry of Defence (MoD) - is hosting live firing exercises on the hillside.
