garden centre has been targeted in a bizarre raid - where thieves used heavy machinery to steal water features. The Dobbies in Livingston, West Lothian was broken into at around 2.15am on Monday, June 15.
A fork lift vehicle was used to cause a trail of destruction before leaving the building with ornamental garden water features, a garden strimmer and a pressure washer.
Police have now launched a probe and say they are looking for men seen pushing trollies. Detective Constable Peter Baxter said: "Enquiries so far have established that two men wearing dark clothing and with hoods up have left Dobbies on foot pushing trollies taken from within the centre."These trollies were found close by at the side of the A89 roadway.
