THE Serpent's Jenna Coleman has revealed her biggest regret from the BBC finale - and the bizarre item she pinched from set.

The 34-year-old actress played Marie-Andrée Leclerc, the lover and accomplice of real life serial killer Charles Sobhraj in the eight-part BBC drama, which concluded on Sunday night.

The finale saw the couple finally arrested after they had murdered dozens of young backpackers in Thailand and Nepal in the 1970s.

The drama revealed Marie died of ovarian cancer at the age of just 38, eight years after their arrest, while Charles served time in prison before living as a free man in France before being imprisoned once again after returning to Nepal in 2003.
