A generous takeaway owner is giving back to his community by delivering free food and supplies to those struggling in lockdown.The Original Mr Chef in Uddingston recently partnered with local grocers to make up 100 food parcels, ensuring that they reach hungry families during the coronavirus crisis.Business owner Wasim Arshad said he was inundated with messages asking for help at this difficult time and he was more than happy to support his community.He told the Advertiser: “This is something a lot closer to home and something I hope we never see again.“I went to a couple of shops, gave them £500 to get parcels made up and eventually we were able to give out 100.“We had people contact us saying they were struggling to feed their families
