Manchester Evening News.After losing his last surviving grandparent to cancer last year, Wesley, who works for Manchester Airport, decided he wanted to do something remarkable.He had planned to cycle 1,250 miles from Woodhouse Park to the Russian town of Sebezh, but this had to be postponed due to Covid-19."I had planned everything for my trip to Russia in September and had booked the flights," Wesley said."I had done all my mapping and checked all the hotels but then the pandemic hit and I had to cancel my trip.""I thought it was probably a good thing because I shouldn't have really been travelling during coronavirus, but I still wanted to do something."Wesley said he thought about cycling from Glasgow to Manchester, but felt it 'didn't.
