New photographs of an old disused petrol station out of use for decades show how the site has been frozen in time. The derelict site may sound like an eyesore, but the petrol station on the outskirts of the village of Llanrug in Gwynedd, north Wales, has developed into something of a curiosity.
Rather than being pulled down or paved over, the old station has been left as it is. Like a time capsule it has become the remnant of the village’s past life.
Located on the A4086 next to the Glyntwrog Inn, the old petrol station has attracted visitors and motorists who stop to take pictures on occasion, reports the Daily Post.
