Foreign holidays are “highly unlikely” to be allowed this summer, Nicola Sturgeon has declared. Scotland’s First Minister said she doubted overseas breaks will be “possible or advisable”, even in the summer months.
The SNP leader today said staycations for Scots “might” be possible during the summer, “but this will depend on the data nearer the time.” Easter domestic breaks look off the cards for Scots - after she warned she is “very likely” to advise against them.
It comes after Tory ministers in England dodged questions about whether foreign breaks will be allowed - and urged Brits not to book them yet due to the lack of data.
