Hollywood actor and The Hobbit star Lee Pace is 43 years old today (March 25).Lee played Thranduil in Peter Jackson's fantasy trilogy between 2012-2014, with the star later appearing in huge films and TV series including Guardians Of the Galaxy and Foundation.He was one of many stars to either reprise their Lord Of The Rings role or join the franchise, launching their careers to new level of fame across the world.To celebrate Lee's birthday and the tenth anniversary of the first film in the trilogy, Daily Star has taken a look at where some of the Hobbit cast are now.

Martin Freeman was already a huge star by the time he was cast to play the lead role of Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit trilogy.Along with starring in films including Love Actually and Nativity, he also played Watson in the acclaimed BBC drama series Sherlock, opposite Benedict Cumberbatch.There were also rumours of an off-screen feud between the two Sherlock actors, although this has never been confirmed.During his time on the show, he also appeared opposite then wife Amanda Abbington, who he was married to from 2000-2016.They had two children together called Joe and Grace, with close friend and fellow actor Simon Pegg named Godfather to Martin's son.He revealed that the couple had split during an interview with the Financial Times, but paid a sweet tribute to her, saying: "I’m not with Amanda anymore."It’s very, very amicable — I’ll always love Amanda."Since then, Martin has been spotted out and about with girlfriend Rachel Mariam, who appears in BBC Three programme Normal People.Martin has also reached new levels of fame in Marvel films Black Panther and Captain America: The Winter Soldier, as well as critical acclaim for his role in BBC's The Responder,.
