Amanda Holden
Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

The government roadmap feels like a slap in the face for the wedding industry

roadmap out of lockdown, my expectations were relatively low because I’ve always felt that weddings haven’t been top of the government's priority list.It’s been obvious to me that since early on in the pandemic the government hasn't been taking weddings seriously.

The first set of government guidelines last spring only mentioned weddings in churches – it didn’t mention weddings in approved venues or cultural weddings of any type.

It felt like we were on the back foot in comparison to a lot of the other industries. This new roadmap is no different. The government plans to allow weddings of six from March 8; 15 guests from April 12; 30 guests from May 17 and unlimited guests from June 21.
