The first set of government guidelines last spring only mentioned weddings in churches – it didn’t mention weddings in approved venues or cultural weddings of any type.
It felt like we were on the back foot in comparison to a lot of the other industries. This new roadmap is no different. The government plans to allow weddings of six from March 8; 15 guests from April 12; 30 guests from May 17 and unlimited guests from June 21.
