When it comes to period dramas on Netflix, eagle-eyed fans are usually quick to spot if something is amiss. This was the case for modern yellow lines which randomly appeared in Bridgerton and a stray mouse that ran across a scene in The Crown.
However, it seems like the two hit Netflix dramas have more in common than we think, and a lot of us (including ourselves) missed a now very obvious connection between the two.
Both Bridgerton and The Crown have to use various locations in order to be able to properly act as though they are from both 1813 and the 1900s.
This means that certain stately homes were used, as these are usually full of grandeur and old design, but unfortunately, there are only so many for Netflix to choose from.
