The spread of the coronavirus continues to cause concern across the world, not least in football where the shutdown of games has raised various issues around the sporting integrity of the game.
With leagues in stasis, and football unlikely to resume until September the question of how you decide championships and relegation has become paramount.While most would want the season played to its conclusion, many have suggested that if it can't we should freeze the table as it stands.It will ultimately be a decision for government, UEFA and lawyers to pore over the fine print of the rules that provide a framework to govern the game.
