Brora, the British cashmere company who was inspired by the coffee and takeaway drinks hatches that have blossomed across the country during the second lockdown.

If you can order a beer or a macchiato on the pavement from your phone and pick it up from a hatch two minutes later, she reasons, why not the same with cashmere?

Yesterday, two of Brora’s branches opened their Cashmere Hatches. Customers can call a few hours ahead, if they want their purchases gift-wrapped, or order from outside, on their mobiles and pick it up a few minutes later.

While they can’t try items on, as assistant can show them potential purchases and colour options in the window before they decide.
