Countries across the world are tightening their borders to UK travellers after becoming increasingly concerned over the UK’s surge in Omicron cases.
Tens of thousands of people are testing positive for coronavirus each day, with a further 91,743 lab-confirmed cases recorded on Monday.
Concerned that Brits will spread Omicron elsewhere, countries in Europe and across the world have introduced stricter measures for UK travellers, with France and Germany some of the most recent countries to do so, MyLondon reports.
