Tesco shakes up Clubcard scheme – with vouchers and statements affected

Clubcard statement and vouchers by post, you'll need to actively opt back in. To do this, sign into your MyClubcard account online and click on “statement preferences” then change it back to say “by post” before May 5.If you change your preferences after May 5 you will receive your statement and vouchers by post but will then get your August paperwork in the post.The shake-up is part on a major store transformation that will see Tesco – already the largest in the UK – open up another 59 shops around the UK.Openings will take place over the next 12 months.News of the shake up came after the supermarket announced it would be scrapping its Metro store format.Chief executive Ken Murphy said the latest opening programme will take it to a total of over 2,000 Express stores and 1,001 shops.“Our priority is to be the most convenient retailer,” Murphy said.“That means serving customers wherever, whenever and however they want.
