As pubs and bars reopen for the first time in months in England, the retailer has urged shoppers not to buy alcohol from its stores.
Instead, Tesco wants people to go and support their local. Posting on Facebook, the supermarket chain issued the following statement.
It read: "Pubs have had it tough this year. So, as good as our deals are, this week we’d rather you support your local pub (as long as you feel safe to do so).
