Bay City Rollers star Les Mckeown was a 70s pop icon and was idolised by many in the band's heyday. But the star - who sadly died suddenly at the age of 65 this week - faced many traumatic events in his life which contributed to him turning to booze and drugs.
And it was when he checked into rehab in Malibu, California in 2008 that he shared some of the horrible moments in his life that led to him battling several demons.
Les struggled when his parents Frank and Florence died within a short space of time of each other. The Shang A Lang hitmaker losing them both triggered a mental breakdown - which was accelerated by alcohol and cocaine.
