Shoppers have blasted Tesco's decision to keep stores open on Boxing Day while other major supermarkets remain closed. While Aldi, ASDA and M&S were shut on December 26 to let staff spend time with loved ones, Tesco bosses made the decision to reopen stores after Christmas.
This angered some shoppers who branded the supermarket 'disgraceful' for making staff work on the public holiday - with many calling for a ban on Boxing Day shifts in supermarkets.
Fuming customers took the comments of a recent Tesco Facebook post to make their feelings known. On Christmas Day, Tesco wrote: "Wishing all our colleagues and customers a very merry Christmas.
