Not even the snow on Boxing Day could prevent shoppers from hitting the sales at Braehead shopping centre.Super-keen bargain hunters dragged themselves out to the Renfrewshire shopping centre to start queuing from 5.30am.Over 200 people turned out braving the dark and the wintery conditions in anticipation for the centre opening at 7am – three hours earlier than normal.The much anticipated Next sale was a huge attraction as the store also opened at 7am, alongside JD Sports.Other stores including Pandora and The Perfume Shop also opened an hour earlier than normal for sale seekers.Braehead staff were on hand throughout the day to ensure social distancing was maintained and that shoppers were able to safely park their cars.
