Terrorists using new bomb-making methods could use drones to blast crowded high streets or football grounds, it is feared. British military intelligence has been secretly warned that the chilling technology could make it far easier to launch drone attacks.
There are fears that when lockdown is over terrorists could launch a commercial drone, carrying an improvised explosive device, from a hotel room and fly it into a crowded place like London’s Oxford Street.
The chilling new technology, which could also carry chemical weapons, has emerged in recent months and has been tested by Iranian-backed rebels on the killing fields of Yemen.
