Emergency crews have rescued terrified families from their homes after torrential downpours flooded entire streets in Scotland.
Aimee Miller, 29, filmed the fire brigade carrying herself and her children to safety in a boat in Broxburn, near Edinburgh, last night.
In her video, wheelie bins can be seen floating in the waist-high water, which reached the roofs of trapped cars. It comes as heavy rains also submerged streets in Glasgow, leaving cars stuck and entire roads cut off.
Ms Miller told Mirror Online she was left terrified by the flooding but kept a brave face to reassure her children, aged nine, eight and two.
