Tenants in rented accommodation have been left stunned after finding their landlord's list of eight house rules they describe as "patronising beyond belief".
A picture of the piece of paper headed 'Simple house rules' was shared on Reddit, racking up hundreds of comments as others advised the occupants to "get out ASAP".
One of the tenants explained that their landlord does not live in the property, but keeps a "hidden locked living room that is 'his'" at the home, and visits on Saturdays to complete his admin work, Daily Star reports.
