A Scots street with the slowest broadband speed would have to spend 41 hours download a two hour HD film, a new study has found.
Grant Road in Banchory, Aberdeenshire has been named as having the slowest download speeds of any street in Scotland. Average download speeds reached a snail’s pace of 0.28mbps, according to consumer magazine USwitch.The sluggish speeds found on this street are a staggering 2,375 times slower than the street with Scotland’s fastest broadband speeds.
Residents on Murrayfield Terrace in Bannockburn, Stirling are able to download the same HD film in just 62 seconds with speeds reaching the heights of a whopping 665mbps.
