A teenager in a rooftop stand-off with police jumped into a garden in order to escape the police. Carl Power, 16, and Jamie Carr, 20, climbed up onto the house in Tuebrook following a police chase that hit 100mph.

Over the course of the 13 hours they spent on the roof overnight they threw bricks and tiles onto the street below while hurling abuse, The Liverpool Echo reported.

When the video was first published in 2018 the faces had to be edited for legal reasons. Now that Power, who has plagued north Liverpool, has turned 18 he can be named and photoed.

The video, taken by a shocked neighbour, showed Power seemingly toying with police. Eventually he jumped off the gable end onto a house extension below and made a run for it, scaling down
