Manchester Evening News reports.Now Farrimond has been sentenced to the lengthy term in a young offender's institution.The steward received an alert on his mobile phone informing him that the alarm was going off, at about 1.20pm on Sunday, January 19, Manchester Crown Court heard.When he arrived with his wife, he found the doors open and a padlock had been forced off.After entering the church, his wife was sprayed with the fire extinguisher by Farrimond.
Protecting his wife, he pushed her away and was then sprayed himself to the face.Farrimond then threw the fire extinguisher at him, hitting his shoulder.
