SZA has announced a long-awaited deluxe edition of her lauded 2022 album ‘SOS’, titled ‘Lana’.The original album was released in December of 2022 and went on to break a seven-year chart record in the US by celebrating its ninth week at Number One.Almost immediately after the release of the original album, SZA began teasing more material, with Billboard reporting in February that a deluxe edition of ‘SOS’ was in the works featuring 10 unheard songs.Now, SZA has officially confirmed the release at a live show. SZA has premiered the music video for ‘Snooze’, featuring Justin Bieber and a host of other stars.The video sees her in various romantic scenarios – cuddling, dancing, hanging out and occasionally arguing – with various men, including Bieber, actors Woody McClain and Beef‘s Young Mazino and producer and songwriter Benny Blanco (who has also worked with Bieber as well as with SZA herself). Tyler, the Creator‘s Camp Flog Gnaw has been revealed, including headliners SZA and Tyler himself.The festival will return for the first time in four years on the weekend of November 11-12 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.Alongside SZA and Tyler, Camp Flog Gnaw 2023 will be headlined by The Hillbillies, who many are assuming to be Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem, given their recent single of the same name.The pair’s official video for ‘The Hillbillies’ also featured Tyler, the Creator and was set outside Dodger Stadium. SZA has teased an unreleased song in a new behind-the-scenes clip for her upcoming music video for ‘Snooze’.In the clip shared to Instagram late Saturday (August 12), which appears to show the R&B sensation dancing intimately for a cyborg, a new song plays atop the footage.“Bts from snooze video but not snooze audio,” she wrote. In a follow-up preview clip the singer hugs a man in a shadowy pool of water.

The nominees for the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards have been announced, with a Video of the Year category featuring Doja Cat, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Olivia Rodrigo, Sam Smith & Kim Petras, SZA and Taylor Swift. While Swift and SZA also take the lead in terms of overall nominations, with 8 and 6 respectively, everyone else in the category is trailing right behind them with five noms each.

Jay-Z‘s Made In America festival has been cancelled for 2023 due to “severe circumstances”.The annual festival was due to be held next month (September 2-3) in Philadelphia and headlined by SZA and Lizzo.In their statement announcing the cancellation, festival organisers said the decision was made “due to severe circumstances outside of production control.”They added: “This decision has been difficult and has not been made lightly nor without immense deliberation.“Made in America has a legacy of delivering exceptional experiences for music fans and concert goers, and it is our commitment to always deliver a top-tier festival experience.
