Fontaines D.C., Massive Attack and Young Fathers have teamed up for a limited edition 12” single to support the charity Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF).The release, which is available to pre-order now, will feature material by Fontaines and a collaboration between Young Fathers and Massive Attack, alongside a sleeve and print designed by Robert Del Naja.100 per cent of the profits from the single will be donated to the charity to help their emergency operations in Gaza and the West Bank. He released his debut solo album ‘Maxinquaye’ in 1995, which featured Tricky on production and singing with his then-partner, Martina Topley Bird.

Gorillaz and Massive Attack have been announced as two of the headliners of We Love Green Festival 2022.Billed as “the world’s leading sustainable festival”, We Love Green will return after a two-year absence to Bois de Vincennes in Paris on June 2 and 4-5. Massive Attack have announced a huge show set to take place in Dublin this summer, which will follow several gigs across Europe.The trip-hop collective – comprised of Robert “3D” Del Naja, Adrian “Tricky” Thaws and Grant “Daddy G” Marshall – will begin their summer itinerary at Barcelona’s Primavera Sound festival at the start of June.After visiting festivals and venues in Norway, Italy, Germany and France, the group will arrive in Dublin for a massive headline gig at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham on August 28.Tickets for the show will go on general sale at 10am on Friday (February 18) and will be available to purchase here. In November, Massive Attack helped launch a campaign to expose corporate “greenwashing” at COP26. Del Naja teamed up with green industrialist Dale Vince and artist Bill Posters to reveal the practice, which involves companies giving a false impression or providing misleading information about how environmentally sound their products are.“The general public are very much aware of the harm caused by the disinformation that is propagated via social media platforms,” Del Naja said at the time.

Massive Attack will join the list of artists who’ve collaborated with streetwear brand Supreme this week, with a new line of apparel featuring the band’s ‘Mezzanine’ artwork set to arrive.The brand’s next drop is set to launch tomorrow (June 17), and will feature football jerseys, button-downs and shorts.
