Ruth Langsford reacts as Rylan-Clark uses Eamonn Holmes' new stairlift amid health woes

Eamonn Holmes has been plagued with a number of health issues after undergoing surgery on his back, including fracturing his shoulder.The GB News presenter has since returned to work after taking several months off to recover.The broadcaster has been open about his struggles with a dislocated pelvis and a trapped sciatic nerve, amongst his other health concerns.The 63-year-old was visited by his pal Rylan-Clark on Sunday evening who couldn't resist using the presenter's latest at home machinery.Eamonn and Ruth have since purchased a stair lift to help Eamonn move more freely around their home.Rylan, 34, who jokingly referred to Eamonn as "dad" took the opportunity to get on the former This Morning presenter's new toy, while Ruth filmed.Ruth was heard saying: "Wait until it stops beeping, don't bloody break it." To which Rylan replied: "Can I just do it now? It's the noise! Oh, this is great," before mimicking a royal wave as the stair lift started moving down.The Loose Women presenter starts giggling which in turn sets off Rylan with a fit of giggles before she sarcastically asks "Are you Rylan? Can I have your autograph?"Rylan quipped: "Can I just say, I know you've been through it Dad, but you've got an easy life here!"Eamonn retorted: "It's a fun fair, it's the fun palace," to which Rylan replied: "Honestly, you could rent this out."The BBC Radio 2 presenter took to Instagram and shared the clip with his 1.6 million followers, and captioned the post: "Well someone had to go and check out the tech…. @eamonnholmes.

Express.co.uk has contacted Buckingham Palace for comment.The Queen has recently recovered from a back sprain as well as coronavirus, which caused her to experience "mild cold-like symptoms”.Daily Mail royal editor Rebecca English has since told Palace Confidential on Mail Plus that there is currently speculation surrounding Her Majesty’s appearance at her Platinum Jubilee celebrations.According to the publication, the monarch will not be taking part in all the events taking part during the bank holiday.Rebecca said: "The conversations they're having now around the Queen and the Jubilee are very different to the conversations they were having a year ago."A year ago they expected her to be front and centre at everything, attending every event and that definitely is no longer the case."She will attend what they call the big keynote events around the Jubilee in the run up to it and over the four-day bank holiday weekend."But she definitely won't be attending everything.”However, she stressed that it should not be “cause for alarm” and that the Queen “will definitely be seen".Rebecca said: "These are celebrations of her historic anniversary and she will definitely be seen but just be warned it won't be quite as much as we had hoped."

Eamonn Holmes, 62, has been pictured with his walking stick in hand as he attended an event today.The GB News presenter looked dapper posing alongside his co-star Isabel Webster at Turn The Tables 2022.Eamonn posed for the camera as he smiled broadly despite his recent confession about his health woes.The TV star was walking with the aid of his walking stick at the event held at BAFTA Piccadilly in aid of Cancer Research UK.Eamonn has been struggling with chronic pains after trapping a sciatic nerve in his back.He previously admitted that he felt like a nuisance to his family due to his walking issues, his wife Ruth Langsford recounted.Speaking on Loose Women about her husband’s health issues, Ruth confessed that Eamonn’s comments on his health made her feel sad.She said: "Eamonn started his new job this week and because of that he’s been giving a lot of interviews, as you do."People have asked about his health because he’s had a really rough year this year."Bulging discs in his back, he hasn’t been able to walk properly, it’s transferred down his leg and he’s really finding it hard to walk," she continued."He said in this interview, which actually made me feel a bit sad, he said, 'I think my family are a bit fed up with me now.'"He said, 'The kids are a bit embarrassed about how I move around or don’t move around, and Ruth’s getting a bit fed up with me.'"I thought, well, I am and I’m not.
