SUSANNA Reid hilariously sniffed Crystal Palace player Patrick Van Aanholt's shirt live on Good Morning Britain today after he wished her a happy 50th birthday.

The ITV presenter was in jovial spirits as she marked the milestone a day early in studio alongside her co-host Piers Morgan.

Susanna, who turns 50 tomorrow (December 10), was delighted her favourite player Patrick took the time to send her a personalised birthday message.

The footballer said: "Me and the squad want to wish you a very, very happy birthday. "And hopefully soon we'll see you at Selhurst [Park] to come cheer us at a game.
