Scots school boy has been praised for his quick actions by calling an ambulance after his mum suddenly collapsed at home. Shaun Ramsay had been getting ready for school at the family’s home in Elderslie, Renfrewshire, in December last year when Anne suffered a seizure.
The nine-year-old, who has trisomy 8 mosaicism meaning his development is delayed, quickly dialled 999 after being unable to wake his mum.He directed paramedics to the house before letting them in so they could check over the barely conscious 37-year-old.
Anne, who suffers from epilepsy, was whisked to the Royal Alexandra Hospital where she was checked over before being discharged.
