A drug dealer has been jailed after thousands of messages concerning the supply of cannabis and cocaine were found on his phone.
Police raided Kevin Wells' home in Clitheroe, Lancashire, at around 4pm on June 5, 2020, and arrested him in the kitchen. Tucked into his sock was a snap bag containing £20 of cocaine.
The 49-year-old then led officers to his shed where officers found 36g of cannabis with a street value of £230, Preston Crown Court heard.
Wells' iPhone was taken and sent for analysis. More than 7,300 chat messages were recovered as well as 2,800 SMS messages relating to Class A and B drugs.
