An adapted Race For Life effort by gym members in Strathaven has raised over £5000 for charity.And not only was the group effort the perfect tonic to battle the lockdown blues, but it was the ideal way to remember their lost friend.Spearheaded by Eclipse Fitness owner Naomi Watt, the fun ‘hoopathon’ was completed by friends and family of Michele Osborne (pictured) who lost her battle to cancer in December.Naomi told us: “The hoopathon started at 7am and we finished together 7pm as a class.“This is my Friday Powerhoop class in Strathaven, and hoopers hooped a one hour time slot at home with a Skype group going to pass the baton onto the next person.“We have raised over £5000 already and still have donations coming in in memory for our fellow
