Steven Saunders has completed his move to East Kilbride in the latest signing coup for the fifth tier side. revealed yesterday that Saunders, 29, is in talks with the K-Park club about the move and boss Stevie Aitken hoped to complete the deal imminently.
Kilby have now got the deal for the Rutherglen-born defender over the line as he leaves West of Scotland League side Gartcairn.Saunders played under K-Park gaffer Aitken at Dumbarton and had spells with Ross County, Livingston and Partick Thistle in Scotland, and The New Saints in Wales.
He also earned a Scotland cap while breaking through early in his career at Motherwell in a 3-0 win over the Faroe Islands in 2010.
