A mum carrying her four-month-old baby ran screaming to her neighbours' homes after being stabbed. She shouted for help as she banged on doors, before collapsing and dying from her injuries.
The 29-year-old woman is said to have fled across the street in Stoke, Staffordshire on Friday afternoon after a disturbance at a house.
June Cartwright, who lives near to the scene, said: "This is such an awful thing to have happened and the community is in shock.
My thoughts are with the woman's family." Neighbour Sarah Horvath, 32, told the Sun: "Apparently she ran across the road with the baby in her arms. "Some people said she was covered in blood when she ran.
