The policeman who was stabbed in Glasgow yesterday afternoon has said he 'will never forget the scene he was confronted with'.
PC David Whyte was one of the first at the Park Lane Hotel on West George Street and was knifed by a Sudanese national named as Badradeen.
The 42-year-old was rushed to hospital in a critical condition but is now recovering in hospital. In a statement released this afternoon PC Whyte said: "The incident myself and colleagues faced in West George Street was extremely challenging.
