Get the brightest stories sent to your inbox with the Daily Star newsletterA policeman who was “seriously injured” in a Glasgow stabbing on Friday afternoon has said he will “never forget” the incident he was “confronted with.” PC David Whyte, 42, was rushed to hospital in critical condition on Friday, but is now recovering at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.In a statement issued on to the Police Scotland Twitter, PC Whyte said he would like to hank his “colleagues who put themselves in harms way” to contain the incident.He said he received “vital treatment” from emergency services, along with others who were injured in the incident.
