Sign up today for the biggest and brightest stories sent straight to your inboxA police investigation is under way after an officer was stabbed in the arm while responding to an emergency in west London this lunchtime.The Metropolitan Police have confirmed officers were called at around 1.15pm on Friday to reports of a man seen in possession of a knife in Hendon Way.Officers attended and claim to have identified the suspect, who then reportedly tried to run away from police.He was pursued on foot and at that point reportedly stabbed an officer in the arm.A Taser was deployed and the man was arrested on suspicion of GBH.
