Tommy Makinson will miss Friday's derby after receiving a three-match ban following his red card against Castleford Tigers. The St Helens winger was dismissed after making direct contact to the head of Tigers fullback Niall Evalds during the champions' defeat on Thursday.
He has now been slapped with a three-match suspension that will rule him out of Friday's showdown with the Warriors. Makinson has been cited for a grade c 'high tackle' which will rule him out for a key period in Saints' season.
