SQUID GAME creator Hwang Dong-hyuk has confirmed there’s major changes coming for series’ protagonist Seong Gi-hun in season two.
The highly anticipated second season of the hit Korean drama is in the works, but there’ll be big changes for the show’s lead Seong Gi-hun, played by Lee Jung-jae.
At the end of season one, Jung-jae’s character Seong Gi-hun freed himself from the violent and psychological survival competition which had kept him prisoner.
Given the success of Season one, it seems inevitable that there would be a second season of the Netflix show. Jung-jae will return as Gi-hun who, having discovered the games are still in play and the mysterious Salesman (Gong Yoo) is involved, will turn his back on his family once again as he tries to uncover what’s going on.
