Spain is apparently “itching” to allow UK travellers to holiday there again. They are confident that it will be “very soon”, reports The Mirror.
Tourism minister Maria Reyes Maroto gave holidaymakers hope of a Costa trip this summer when she emphasised how keen the country is to welcome back British tourists.Reyes did not confirm that the country would be opening to Brits in July – when they are beginning to allow international tourism.She did not confirm a date when we would be allowed to enter Spain.However, her statement suggests that things are looking positive.
Reyes said: “As you know the UK is our main foreign holiday market and Spain is Britain’s favourite holiday destination.“We are looking forward to welcoming British.
