SpaceX will this year launch the 'first ever all-private crewed orbital mission' and a seat on the historic mission is up for grabs, it has been reported.
Tech entrepreneur Jared Isaacman has reportedly been chosen to charter a private spaceflight to Earth's orbit with Elon Musk's company.
The 37-year-old businessman, who is also said to be an accomplished pilot, will command the four-person 'Inspiration4' mission aboard a SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule.
Mr Isaacman, the founder and CEO of Shift4 Payments, is said to be donating the remaining three seat and there will be no professional astronauts on board.
